Ausstellung: Memory Room

Solo-Ausstellung von der ukrainischen Multi-Media Künstlerin Sofiia Chokan.

“I feel that what remains in our memory shapes us in some way.
Over time, memories change. We forget details, faces, places, and events. Images become blurred and difficult to grasp, but sometimes something stronger remains – a feeling. We may no longer be able to clearly recall a moment, but we can still feel how important it once was to us. I’m curious why certain memories stay with us and what they can tell us about who we are. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working in an empty white room, trying to collect my memories, look at them as a whole, and explore those that hold a special meaning for me.
Through different artistic experiments, I’m trying to give physical form to what I see and feel in my memory, but can’t always put into words. Little by little, the room is filling with the results of this exploration. And I’d love to invite you to see what has emerged from this process.”
